If the Ranger is the martial version of a Druid, and the Paladin the martial version of a Cleric, then The Scion is the martial version of a Warlock. The martial-spellcasting hybrid includes full level 1-20 progression, four subclasses, and three new backgrounds.

One of the more challenging scenarios for a game master to concoct is the initial meeting of the player characters. To help avoid the “you all meet in a tavern” trope, the Academy of Adventure drops level one PCs in an adventuring school for young adults.

In each of the divided realms of Prismeer, the Feywild domain that’s featured in The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, there lies an awesome mega-dungeon ruled by a hag. Unfortunately the rest of the notable locations that reside in each realm aren’t given the same love and attention. The Hither Adventure Bundle rectifies this, at least for the domain of Hither, expanding on two of the locations and adding an all-new third one to the swampy fey realm.

Harry Potter popularized the magic school trope, but just about every fantasy world has at least one school of magic, and Strixhaven could very well be yours. Adapted from a recent Magic: The Gathering set, Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos is the rare setting book that includes a fully featured, levels 1-10 campaign adventure.

In my Roll20 Review of The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, I was very impressed with the campaign’s opening chapter, calling it “one of the best level one areas that 5e has produced.” Witchlight Carnival Expanded is an unofficial, but very impressive, expansion to that specific chapter, expanding and adding new attractions, events, backgrounds, and rollable tables.

After following the map the party found in Easthaven and finding a trail in the mountains, the imposing duergar fortress soon looms before them. Sunblight is a solid stone skyscraper, hundreds of feet tall, built directly into the mountain. A staircase built into the rock leads them to the only entrance, halfway up.

Thankfully, one of the Marshals has a plan to get inside.
